TITLE: A Dream Come True

The series: PROPHECY OF THE HOLOCAUST was conceived and produced as a triptych. I am hopeful that the series as a whole will promote an emotional connection to a subject which is difficult to rationally come to terms with. Added here, as a fourth artwork in the series, is the tapestry A Dream Come True. Each individual must find their own way forward in hope, through the restored vision of Israel.
The tapestry A Dream Come True expresses the dream of true unity–a nation for all. At the top of the tapestry are the words (attributed to Theodore Herzl) in Hebrew which translates as ‘If you will it–it is no dream.’
The colors and sense of joyful movement are intended to convey the feelings of optimism and happiness–feelings seemingly unfathomable after the pain of the Holocaust.
