All the elements involved in the tapestry are quite abstract. David as the central figure, the people assembled, and the ark and the place David arranges for it are expressed in subtly. It is an invitation to the viewer’s imagination to discover meanings and symbols. Almost everything in the tapestry is expressed as big masses of color, colors that are not flat, but composed of the mixture of many tones and nuances, in order to reach a powerful chromatic harmony.
