The earth floats in space. While other sources placed the earth on the back of an elephant or a tortoise, or on Atlas’ shoulders, the Bible declared what is now commonly known—“God hangs the earth on nothing.”
The earth is spherical. Before any other historical record, the Bible declared that the earth was round.
